How We Work

The Foundation provides assistance to injured Scottish rugby players suffering financial hardship and is financially and administratively independent. Since its inception, it has assisted a number of players with short or longer-term injuries.

In addition to financial assistance, the foundation also helps with:

  • cars
  • wheelchairs
  • computers
  • adaptations to players‘ or parents’ homes.

Support Chris Laidlaw !

The son of one of Scottish Rugby’s all-time greats is preparing for an “amazing challenge” for charity in 2021.

Chris Laidlaw, 30, a Scotland Club XV International stand-off and captain of Boroughmuir Bears (winners of the FOSROC Super6 Scottish Cup), is taking a year out of the game in 2021 – to run 12 marathons in 12 months!

The 12 in 12 quest will begin on New Year’s Day when he will set off from the Boroughmuir clubhouse at 10am to pound the pavements for some 26 miles.

Please support Chris's effort at: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/12in12in21
